Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, or 13 or older with parental or guardian consent where required. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

To use the Services, you may need to create an account, verify your phone number, and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Waitlist

Joining the Vero waitlist does not guarantee access to the Services. We will notify you via SMS when your account is approved and ready to activate.

4. Rideshare Services

Vero provides a group rideshare service. By using the Services to book or take a ride, you agree to behave respectfully toward drivers and other passengers, follow all applicable laws, and comply with any rules posted in the vehicle or on the app.

5. Payments

Rides are charged at the rates displayed in the app at the time of booking. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). All sales are final unless required otherwise by law.

6. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Vero as described in our Privacy Policy. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or harm drivers, other passengers, or Vero staff
• Damage the vehicle, its contents, or equipment
• Bring weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials on board
• Attempt to interfere with the operation of the Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services for any violation of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vero LLC and its officers, members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vero LLC and its officers, members, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lafayette County, Mississippi.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
